Providence Academy Boys Hockey Falls to Orono, 8-1
The Providence Academy boys hockey team dropped a regular season Section 2A matchup to Orono by a score of 8-1 on Thursday night.
The Lions got in a hole early, giving up three goals in the first period.
Owen Villagomez made some stops to start the second period, but the Spartans continued to roll later, racking up three more goal in the period.
Eliot Carlson scored PA’s lone goal at the 13:25 mark in the second period.
Trey Landa led the way for the Spartans, scoring three goals.
The Lions are now 7-5-1 on the season.
