Providence Academy Baseball Scores Another Win
The Providence Academy baseball team continued its strong season with a 9-4 win over New Life Academy Wednesday.
The Lions improved to 11-2 with the win.
Providence scored four runs in the third inning to break open a 1-1 game.
Austin DeSmet pitched five innings for the win, allowing just one hit and striking out seven while giving up four unearned runs.
Jimmy Fafinski was 2-for-4 with two runs batted in for the Lions.
Providence had just four hits but walked 11 times and manufactured enough runs to win.
The Lions play at Spectrum Saturday.
