Prep Football Training Camp Report: Providence Academy
The Providence Academy football team is back for more after a strong 2021 season.
The Lions were 8-0 in the regular season last fall but were ousted in the Section 2AAA semifinals to finish 8-1.
They will have plenty of new faces in the lineup, but will build around an experienced offensive line.
Senior Stormy Knight excelled as a backup running back last season and will now be the featured back.
Defensively, the Lions allowed less than 10 points on four of their eight regular season games.
They expect to be stingy again.
Providence kicks off the 2022 season at Richfield Thursday night.
