Prep Football Training Camp Report: Cooper Hawks
The Cooper football team is looking for a bounce-back season.
The Hawks had a young team last fall and dropped off to a 3-7 record one season after reaching the state semifinals for the first time in program history.
The good news is that a lot of younger players gained valuable varsity experience.
Cooper has a good skill position group with speed an agility.
Some of the top guys to watch include junior linebacker/tight end Emmanuel Karmo; senior safety and wide receiver Talan Williams; junior linebacker and running back Tony Kollie; junior running back Randy Smythe; senior quarterback Kameron Fox; and linemen Jeremiah Hoskins and Lucas Johnson.
Cooper opens the season Thursday when they host Park Center at 5:00 p.m.
