Plymouth-Wayzata Youth Baseball Hoping for Season
Leaders in the Plymouth-Wayzata Youth Baseball Association (PWYBA) are hoping to salvage some type of season.
Restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic have left summer youth leagues scrambling to come up with alternate plans.
Many leagues and associations have already canceled for the summer.
PWYBA president Ryan Boutwell says surveys of families in the league have indicated that some don’t intend to have their child play this summer, while others have said they are eager to play.
Guidelines from the state and also the city of Plymouth would have to be followed.
