PlayBall Minnesota Baseball: Metro West Falls to North
At the PlayBall Minnesota baseball all-star series, the Metro West team lost its opener 6-2 to North.
The North all-stars went on to win the tournament.
North opened the scoring by getting three runs in the top of the third.
Metro West rallied with two in the fourth inning, but Taylor Brodersen of Heritage Christian was robbed on a great diving catch by Gavin Rasmussen of Cloquet to end the threat.
The North added three insurance runs to secure the win.
