PlayBall! Minnesota All-Star Baseball Returns
After a one-year absence because of COVID-19, the PlayBall! Minnesota All-star baseball series returns this week.
The six-team tournament is for seniors from the class of 2021.
Wayzata will have three players on the Metro West team: pitchers Sam Schlect and Logan Fragomeni and catcher Joey Grochala.
Champlin Park has three players on the Metro North squad: pitcher Myer Schmitz, infielder Tanner Thompson, and outfielder Evan Hammonds.
Armstrong third baseman Grant Proctor is also on the Metro North team, along with Totino-Grace catcher Stephen Golden and infielder Luke Siegle.
The two-day tournament is Friday and Saturday at Chaska Athletic Park.
