Play Ball! Golden Valley Little Leaguers Return to Practice Field
The COVID-19 pandemic caused many youth sports leagues around the Twin Cities to cancel their summer seasons.
Golden Valley Little League baseball took a wait and see approach.
State guidelines and city rules allowed for the start of practice sessions Friday for GVLL.
The Nationals team in the Major division was one of several teams to take the field for practice, with social distancing guidelines in place.
An announcement late last week that games could start as soon as this week for outdoor youth sports added to the excitement.
UPDATE: Games have been approved for Golden Valley Little League and will begin the week of July 6th.
