Pirates score big win over Maple Grove

Park Center and Maple Grove have each had a lot of success this season in girls basketball.

The Pirates won at Maple Grove earlier this season, and they made it two-for-two against their district rivals with a 65-61 win over the Crimson Thursday in Brooklyn Park.

Adalia McKenzie had 19 points and Sommer Blakemore 18 to lead Park Center.

The Pirates now lead the Northwest Suburban Conference’s West Division by one and a half games.
