Park Center Wins State Adapted Soccer Title
The Park Center adapted soccer team won its first state title in the PI Division with three wins at the state tournament over the weekend.
The Pirates, representing all of District 279, beat St. Paul Humboldt, Rochester, and then Minneapolis in the title game to win the championship.
The Pirates’ Evan Bartlett, Ben Pfeifer, and Lincoln Scearcy were all named to the All-Tournament team.
For Park Center (10-0) it’s their first state title in the sport since 1998.
