Park Center, Maple Grove Boys Basketball Get Set for Section 5AAAA Final
The Park Center and Maple Grove boys basketball teams are getting set to meet in the Section 5AAAA final Thursday.
Top seed Park Center (24-3) advanced to the final with a 66-58 win over Mounds View in the semifinals.
Second seed Maple Grove (20-8) edged Osseo 61-60 on a three-pointer at the buzzer by freshman Baboucarr Ann.
Park Center won both regular season meetings against Maple Grove this season, 66-51 and 83-65.
Park Center has won the last two section titles.
