Park Center knocks off Osseo in boys Basketball rematch
Park Center’s boys basketball team has chalked up a lot of good wins this season. They added a big one Friday night.
After losing by one point in overtime at Osseo in early January, the Pirates were looking for a little revenge against their rivals Friday night. Osseo led by two at halftime, but a 19-3 run by the Pirates allowed them to take control on the way to a 72-58 win.
The teams are now tied for first in the West Division of the Northwest Suburban Conference.
Emmanuel Tamba had 15 points to lead a balanced Park Center attack, with Tommy Chatman adding 14 and Khari Broadway 12. Zach Theisen had 21 and Emmette Page 15 for Osseo.
The teams could meet for a third time in the Section 5AAAA tournament.
