Park Center Hosts MGGOA Meet; Lakeville South, Champlin Park Win
Lakeville South and Champlin Park won division titles at the 13-team MGGOA gymnastics meet Saturday, hosted by Park Center.
Champlin Park won the Division 2 team title with a score of 130.525. Osseo was third and Park Center fifth.
The Rebels’ Katie Johnson won the all-around title with a score of 34.475. Johnson also won the balance beam. Champlin Park’s Melina Ung won the vault and CP’s Jordan Smith was the uneven bars champion. Lubnag Xiong of Park Center finished first in the floor exercise.
In Division 1 Lakeville South won with a team score of 140.075. Breck finished sixth at 134.225.
