Park Center Girls Basketball Falls in Section Final
The Park Center girls basketball team couldn’t get much momentum going in the second half, and Roseville pulled away for a 61-45 win over the Pirates in the Section 5AAAA championship Thursday night at Anoka High School.
After a sluggish start, Park Center closed the first half on a 10-0 run to tie the game at 23-23.
The teams traded leads early in the second half before Roseville went on a decisive run to put the game away.
Adalia McKenzie had 11 points and Meghan DuBois 10 for the Pirates.
Jayda Johnston had 16 points for the Raiders.
