Park Center Football Facing Fundraising Challenges
The Park Center football team is getting some good summer work , hoping that there will be a season this fall.
This time of year is also usually a big fundraising time for the Pirates and other teams.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed that part of the game plan, too.
The Pirates normally go door-to-door to sell coupon cards for local businesses, but that’s not happening this summer due to the virus.
Head coach Jordan Sallis says it’s an obstacle more than a problem.
The Pirates are looking at other ways to raise money, including a GoFundMe page.
