Park Center CI Adapted Soccer Places Fourth
The Park Center CI division adapted soccer team placed fourth at the state tournament Saturday, falling to South Suburban 6-4 in the third place game.
Park Center represents all of District 279, including Osseo and Maple Grove high schools.
The Pirates defeated South Washington County 9-6 in the quarterfinals and lost to Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville 4-2 in the semis.
South Suburban built a 6-1 lead in the third place game before Park Center came storming back, creating chances and scoring three times to get within 6-4.
The Pirates had the momentum but ran out of time in their bid to catch the Jets.
