Park Center Boys Basketball Scores Win over Totino-Grace
The Park Center boys basketball team pulled away in the second half for a big 77-60 win over Totino-Grace.
The win gives the Pirates a split of the season series with the Eagles in a matchup of two of the better teams in the Northwest Suburban Conference.
Park Center jumped out to an early lead before Totino-Grace rallied to within three points at halftime.
After the Eagles briefly surged into the lead early in the second half, Park Center went on a decisive run.
Braeden Carrington scored 20 points to lead the Pirates, with Ayouba Berthe adding 18 and Jalen Cook 13.
Demarion Watson had 15 points, C.J. O’Hara 14 and Taison Chatman 13 for Totino-Grace.
The Pirates are now 11-4. Totino-Grace is 12-3.
