Park Center Boys Basketball Rolls Past Armstrong
In a matchup of two teams that haven’t had as much success this season as they are accustomed to, the Park Center boys basketball team rolled over Armstrong 80-55 Tuesday.
After the Pirates scored the first six points, Armstrong surged to take a brief lead behind three three-pointers by Matthew Phillips.
Park Center took control to go up 38-26 at the half, and the Falcons never really threatened in the second half.
Abu Keita had 26 to lead the Pirates, with Temiloluwa Omotoyinbo adding 18 and Nigel Caldwell 17.
Desmond Ware had 29 and Phillips 16 for the Falcons, who fell to 1-10. Park Center is now 4-7.
