Park Center Boys Basketball Pulls Away from Osseo
The Park Center boys basketball team pulled away to beat District 279 rival Osseo 79-62 Tuesday.
The underdog Orioles shot the ball well in the first half, hitting seven three-pointers.
Park Center had a slim 36-33 lead at halftime.
Switching to a zone defense for part of the second half paid off for the Pirates.
Osseo hit just two three-pointers in the second half and struggled to score consistently.
Park Center’s 6’10” Dain Dainja proved to be a handful for the Orioles, scoring 25 points.
Josh Brown, Detavius Frierson, and James Parker all scored 12 points for Park Center.
Benard Omooria scored 20 points and James Spencer 13 to lead Osseo.
