Osseo Welcomes Four New Members into Athletic Hall of Fame
Osseo High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame grew by four with the induction of its newest members on Friday.
Honored at a ceremony before the Orioles’ homecoming football game, the 2023 inductees are:
— Mike Farrell (Class of 1985), who wrestled and played football at Osseo, was a state champion wrestler and later a collegiate All-American at Oklahoma State.
— Matt Ferry (’86), a two-time all-state cross country and track and field athlete in high school who was a three-time letterwinner in track at the University of Minnesota and a former Osseo cross country coach.
— Sarah (Bezdicek) Kilpela (2015), a 3-time all-state Nordic skier, the 2015 state Nordic champion and the school’s Athena Award winner who competed at Northern Michigan University.
— Bob San, who covered Osseo High School sports for the Osseo Maple Grove Press from 1980-2020.
