Osseo-Totino-Grace Places 4th at Senior Class Salute Baseball Tournament
The combined Osseo-Totino-Grace baseball team placed 4th at the Senior Class Salute tournament hosted by the St. Paul Saints.
The tournament gave players from the class of 2020 a chance to get back on the field after COVID-19 wiped out the spring high school season.
Osseo-TG won all three of its pool play games to move into the championship bracket.
Friday night in the quarterfinals, they beat Woodbury-Stillwater 4-3 to advance to the weekend.
In the semifinals, Osseo-TG lost a close 4-2 battle against St. Michael-Albertville-Orono.
In the third place game Sunday, Tomahawk Conference handed Osseo-TG a 9-8 loss.
New Prague beat St. Michael-Albertville-Orono in the championship game.
