Osseo-Totino-Grace Baseball Rolls to Win in Senior Class Salute
There was no high school baseball season this spring in Minnesota due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The St. Paul Saints are giving some of the seniors from the class of 2020 a chance to compete one last time.
The Senior Class Salute tournament started this week with pool play.
A combined team from Osseo-Totino-Grace is off to a good start after a 10-0 win in six innings over Hiawatha Valley League.
Osseo-TG scored three runs in the second inning and three more in the bottom of the third to take command.
In the fifth inning a two-run blast by Alex Stephens widened the margin to 8-0.
Jacob Contreras pitched well in the victory for Osseo-TG in their first pool play game.
Osseo-TG plays again Friday afternoon at the University of Northwestern.
