Osseo-Totino-Grace Advances to Championship Bracket at Senior Class Salute Baseball
The combined Osseo-Totino-Grace team is making the most of the chance to play in the Senior Class Salute baseball tournament.
Osseo-TG beat Minnehaha Academy 6-1 Tuesday night to finish 3-0 in pool play.
That makes them champion of Pool 2 and earns Osseo-TG a spot in the championship bracket.
Osseo-TG scored a run in the first on a groundout.
Alex Stephens hit a solo homerun in the fifth for a 3-1 lead, and Osseo-TG tacked on three more in the top of the seventh.
Minnehaha Academy, which includes players from several teams including Maranatha/West Lutheran, was also 2-0 coming into the game.
Osseo-TG meets Stillwater-Woodbury in the championship bracket Friday night. Six teams will advance from pool play.
