Osseo Softball Rally Falls Short vs. Woodbury
The Osseo softball team scored the final seven runs of the game but fell short in their game against Woodbury Tuesday, losing 12-9.
After building a 2-0 lead in the first inning the Orioles saw the Royals score multiple runs in the second, third and fifth innings to build a 12-2 lead.
The Orioles answered with three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and four more in the sixth but got no closer.
Osseo had the tying run at the plate in both the sixth and seventh innings.
Osseo (0-4) is scheduled to play its next game Thursday at Totino-Grace, weather permitting.
