Osseo-Park Center Girls Hockey Shut Out by Park-Cottage Grove
In a back-and-forth game that didn’t have a lot of great scoring chances, the Osseo-Park Center girls hockey team lost 2-0 to Park-Cottage Grove Tuesday.
The game was part of the Armstrong-Cooper Holiday Classic at New Hope Arena.
After a scoreless first period, Osseo-Park Center was on a 5-on-3 power play but Park’s Maleah McMorrow stole the puck and scored on a backhander for a shorthanded goal to make it 1-0 Wolfpack.
Stella Daly added an empty net goal late to make the final 2-0.
Alayna Adamez had 23 saves to earn the shutout for Park.
Gianna Chiodo had 28 saves in a strong performance for the Stars.
The tournament wraps up Wednesday afternoon.
