Osseo-Park Center Girls Hockey Falls to Rogers in High-Scoring Battle
The Osseo-Park Center girls hockey team battled back but couldn’t catch Rogers in a 7-5 loss Monday night in Rogers.
The Royals scored three goals in the first period to grab a 3-2 lead over the Stars, then added four more in the second.
Osseo-Park Center trailed 7-3 but scored the last goal of the second period and then tallied again early in the third to pull within 7-5.
That’s as close as they got, as Rogers got a split of the season series with the win.
Avery Farrell had three goals and two assists for Rogers, with McKenna Sandberg netting two goals and three assists.
Ava Johansson added two goals for the Royals.
Taverie Sherner scored two goals for Osseo-Park Center.
