Osseo-Park Center Girls Hockey Falls in OT to Fergus Falls
The Osseo-Park Center girls hockey team lost its opening game in the Armstrong-Cooper Holiday Classic Thursday, falling to Fergus Falls 3-2 in overtime.
Lauren Rainerson scored both goals for the Stars, the second of which tied the game early in the third period.
Maggie Greenagel scored a powerplay goal at 4:52 of overtime to win the game for the Otters (8-4), who now play Bemidji in one of the tournament semifinals.
O-PC (4-9-2) meets Bloomington Jefferson in a consolation semifinal on Friday.
Games continue through Saturday at New Hope Ice Arena.
