Osseo/Park Center Girls Hockey Eliminated in Playoffs
North Wright County scored twice in the first and third periods as the Riverhawks eliminated Osseo/Park Center in the Section 5AA girls hockey tournament quarterfinals.
Adrienne Hansen opened the scoring with a powerplay goal early in the first period to give NWC the lead for good.
Josie VanKuyk scored twice in the game.
O/PC finishes the season with a record of 9-15-2.
North Wright County (13-11-2), the number three seed in Section 5AA, faces second-seeded Centennial/Spring Lake Park Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Roseville Ice Arena.
Top-seeded Maple Grove meets Champlin Park/Coon Rapids in the other semifinal.
The section final is Friday. All games are played at Roseville Ice Arena.
