Osseo, Mankato West Tie 1-1 in Boys Hockey
The Osseo and Mankato West boys hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie Thursday with both goals coming in the first five minutes of play.
Travis Tousignant opened the scoring for the Orioles with an unassisted goal 2:29 into the first period.
The Scarlets’ Isaac Ulman evened the game up just over two minutes later with his first goal of the season.
There was no more scoring the rest of regulation or overtime. Osseo goalie Gavin Phenow and Mankato West goalie Mason Schreiber both ended the night with 40 saves.
The Orioles (3-7-1) host Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids Saturday at 3:00 pm.
