Osseo Legion Baseball Tops Burnsville in State Quarterfinal
The Osseo American Legion baseball team won its quarterfinal round game of the state tournament, beating Burnsville 8-3.
Trailing 1-0, Osseo scored five runs in the third inning highlighted by a two-run single by Brayden Haag. Haag also pitched a complete game.
Post 172 later advanced to the Central Plains Regional tournament in Fargo, North Dakota.
Osseo opens the tournament Wednesday at noon against Swisher, Iowa.
