Osseo Legion Baseball Shut Out in Round of 16 of Gopher Classic
The Osseo American Legion baseball team saw its run in the Gopher Classic come to an end, falling to Papillion (NE) 7-0 in the round of 16 elimination game Monday.
Osseo got out of a jam in the first inning with a Jack McHugo strikeout with two runners in scoring position.
Papillion then scored four runs in the second inning and another two in the third.
Brycen Botos earned the win on the mound for the Titans.
Osseo won the University of Northwestern pool play, going 5-0. They were the last local team still alive in the 96-team Gopher Classic.
