Osseo Legion Baseball Edges Hopkins in Wild One
The Osseo American Legion baseball team edged Hopkins 5-4 in 14 innings in a wild game.
The contest was a pool play game at the Delano Stars and Stripes Wood Bat 4th of July tournament.
The game was scoreless through 13 innings before the floodgates opened.
Osseo hadn’t had many scoring chances in the game but they broke through with five runs in the top of the 14th.
Hopkins comeback bid fell just short in the 5-4 loss.
Osseo went on to reach the semifinals of the tournament.
