Osseo Girls Soccer Loses First Game to Elk River
The Osseo girls soccer team got off to a great 3-0 start this season, with all three wins by shutout.
That streak came to an end Tuesday as host Elk River beat the Orioles 2-0 in a Northwest Suburban Conference game.
After a scoreless first half, Elk River’s Molly Felgate and Kaitlyn Boyce netted goals in the second half to give the Elks a 2-0 lead.
Osseo got two good chances down the stretch but Elks goalkeeper Deighton Pieterzak made two big saves to preserve the win.
