Osseo Football Team Reacts to MSHSL Decision to Move Season to Spring
The Minnesota State High School League voted Tuesday to push the football season to the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.
While there is some disappointment that the season won’t start soon, the Osseo Orioles are trying to make the best of it.
Osseo head coach Ryan Stockhaus says he realizes it was a tough decision, and feared that if things started on time there was a good chance the season wouldn’t get completed because of virus outbreaks.
His team will go ahead and complete this last week of allotted summer practices this week.
They’re awaiting word on how much practice time will be allowed this fall.
Stockhaus is urging his players to use the extra time to get better.
