Osseo Football Hoping to Excel in Lamker’s Return as Head Coach
The Osseo football team has a lot of seniors this fall and they hope to put together a strong season as Derrin Lamker returns to the head coaching position.
Lamker last coached the Orioles in 2015, winning a state title in his final game.
After a stint at Edina and then most recently at his college alma mater Augsburg, Lamker is trying to re-establish an Osseo program that has struggled recently.
The Orioles were 2-7 last fall.
Key players to watch this season include offensive lineman Trae Odagwe and safeties Philip Sieh and Gary Holloway.
Osseo opens the season at home against Coon Rapids Thursday. Coon Rapids was one of two teams the Orioles beat in the 2024 season.
