Osseo CI Adapted Softball Places 4th
The Osseo CI adapted softball team placed 4th at the state tournament Saturday.
The Orioles lost 5-4 to Chaska/Chanhassen/Prior Lake/Shakopee in the third place game.
The Southern Stars scored three times in the top of the first, with Osseo scoring twice in the bottom of the inning.
Chaska/Chanhassen/Prior Lake/Shakopee added two runs in the third, then withstood an Osseo rally.
Jesse Cordoso-Ramirez and Rio McGrew of Osseo made the all-tournament team.
It was the final game of a 25-year adapted sports coaching career for Osseo head coach Kelli Waalk.
