Osseo Boys Hockey Skates to Overtime Win
Jake Sawicky scored with 53 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Osseo boys’ hockey team to a 3-2 win over St. Michael-Albertville Tuesday.
After a scoreless first period the Orioles got goals in the second from Gavyn Krzoska and Bennet Prokop to lead 2-0 after two.
The Knights rallied and scored twice in the final six minutes of the third.
Blake Couet and Tanner Esterberg netted goals for STMA to send the game to overtime.
The win for Osseo was their second straight and improved their season record to 4-6-1.
The Orioles host Coon Rapids Thursday night at Dick Vraa Arena.
