Osseo Boys Basketball Beats Maple Grove
The Osseo boys basketball team beat Maple Grove 59-54 Tuesday to earn a season split of the series with their rivals.
The Orioles built a 40-22 halftime lead and led by as many as 24 points before the Crimson rallied to within single digits although never took the lead.
Maple Grove beat Osseo 59-58 when the teams met in January.
The Orioles are now 16-8 while the Crimson fall to 15-8.
The two could meet again in next month’s Section 5AAAA tournament.
