Osseo Baseball Opens Playoffs With 9-0 Shutout Over Spring Lake Park
In the first round of the section 5AAAA playoffs, the Osseo baseball team routed Spring Lake Park 9-0.
The Orioles scored three runs in the second, and a Cooper Skov RBI single in the fourth inning extended the lead.
Osseo scored two total runs in the fourth. Tyler Weum’s 2-run double in the fifth added even more insurance, making it a 7-0 game.
The Orioles scored two more runs in the sixth inning.
Travis Godfey pitched six scoreless innings on the mound. Eli Larson finished the shutout allowing no hits in the seventh.
Osseo will now play on the road against the number two seed Rogers on Thursday.
