Osseo 7-on-7 Passing League Sharpens Skills
The high school football season is still a couple of months away but local teams are sharpening their skills at a 7-on-7 passing league hosted by Osseo on Monday nights.
Games are played in shorts and helmets with no pads, and it’s touch football rather than tackle.
Players and coaches say it’s a good way to work on technique, learning routes and play calls, and just a chance to compete against other schools.
The ten-team league includes all three District 279 schools, Osseo, Park Center, and Maple Grove. Hopkins and Providence Academy are also part of the league.
The league runs through July 24, with no games the week of July 3rd.
