On Through the Night: 24 Hours of Golf
Curt Groebner played 24 straight hours of golf in 2008- just to see if he could do it. Two years later he did the same thing, but then as a fundraiser.
On September 1 and 2 Curt and his playing partners- Evan Bojar, Alex Cole and Ross Miller played 175 holes of golf straight through– from 8 p.m. Sunday to 8 p.m. Monday at Sundance Golf Course in Maple Grove.
The 10th annual “All Day Golf” raises money for the Lung Cancer Alliance. Groebner lost an uncle and two grandparents to lung cancer.
The foursome all worked in the pro shop at Sundance when they were younger and the idea was born.
