Northwest Suburban Conference Cross Country
Local runners fared well at the Northwest Suburban Conference cross country championships.
Maple Grove’s C.J. Young won the boys varsity race, with Osseo’s Makinon Mokoro second.
Armstrong won the boys team title, with Maple Grove second.
On the girls side, Maple Grove placed second in the team competition behind Andover.
Alexa Havon of Andover was the individual champion.
Osseo’s Alexa Davis was the top local girl, placing fifth.
