New Coach Leads Osseo Softball into Season

The Osseo softball team has a new head coach as they prepare for the 2022 season.

Former Fridley JV coach Tarek Morey takes over for longtime coach Eric Ruska, who left to become activities director at St. Cloud Tech.

The Orioles return a good group of varsity players from a young team last season.

They are hoping a recent trip to Kansas City will have them ready for the start of the season.

Osseo was scheduled to open the season at home against Champlin Park this Thursday but that game has been postponed.

The Orioles are now scheduled to open the season Tuesday April 12 at Maple Grove.
