Metro North Beats Metro West in All-Star Baseball
The Metro North beat the Metro West 6-3 Saturday at the 46th annual high school all-star baseball series in Chaska. The game was called after five innings because of rain and the final three games of the two-day tournament were rained out.
Luke Siegle of Totino-Grace and the Metro North hit two doubles, scored twice and drove in two runs. Tanner Thompson of Champlin Park hit a solo homerun for Metro North. Totino-Grace head baseball coach Mike Smith was one of the coaches for Metro North.
The Metro West batting order included Joey Grachala and Logan Fragomeni of Wayzata.
