Maranatha Christian Academy Girls BB Wins
The Maranatha Christian Academy girls basketball team beat Mayer Lutheran 57-51.
Breianna Smestad scored 21 points in the victory for the Mustangs.
The win came after Heritage Christian Academy ended Maranatha’s 117-game MCAA conference winning streak.
That loss also snapped a twelve-game winning streak for the Mustangs this season.
Next up for Maranatha is the Section 5AA tournament, which begins Thursday.
