Maranatha Christian Academy Girls Basketball Beats HCA
The Maranatha Christian Academy girls basketball team beat Heritage Christian Academy 58-46 Tuesday.
It was a matchup of the two division leaders in the Minnesota Christian Athletic Association.
Maranatha took control early in the game and built a 30-18 halftime lead.
It’s just the second loss of the season for Heritage.
Breianna Smestad and Macy Smith each scored 15 points to lead MCA.
Taylie Scott scored 22 for Heritage, while Kirstin Robbins surpassed 1,000 career points for the Eagles.
