Maranatha Boys Basketball Holds Off New Life Academy in 2 OT
The Maranatha Christian Academy boys basketball team held off New Life Academy to win a 104-91 thriller in double overtime.
Maranatha is ranked third in Class AA; New Life is second in Class A.
The teams were tied 75-75 at the end of regulation and tied 81-81 at the conclusion of the first overtime.
MCA erupted for 23 points in the second OT.
The win gives Maranatha a sweep of New Life this season.
Maranatha is now 16-2 overall and 9-0 in Skyline Conference play.
New Life drops to 14-4 and 7-3 in conference play.
