MapleBrook U16 Boys Win USA Cup Tournament Opener
The MapleBrook Premier under 16 boys soccer team won its opening game at the USA Cup tournament Tuesday, blanking EPSC from Elgin, Illinois 2-0.
Levi Musokwa scored in the first half and Ayo Adekunie in the second half for MapleBrook. David Orozco posted the shutout in goal.
MapleBrook also won its second match of the tournament on Wednesday and faces Sao Paulo, Brazil Thursday morning in the final round of pool play.
Matches for the USA Cup- the nation’s largest youth soccer tournament- continue in both boys and girls divisions through Saturday.
