MapleBrook U14 Girls Lose at USA Cup
The MapleBrook Under 14 girls’ soccer team lost its final game of pool play at the USA Cup tournament in Blaine, falling 2-0 to IP-NUFC of Illinois.
Brooke Butler and Abby Leslie scored the goals for IP-NUFC.
MapleBrook goalie Lena Sillman made several big saves to keep the match close.
Playoffs in all age divisions at USA Cup are now underway with championship matches scheduled for Saturday at the fields of the National Sports Center.
