Maple Grove’s Brock Faber Traded to Wild
Standout hockey defenseman Brock Faber of Maple Grove may get to continue to play in his home state.
Faber was acquired by the Minnesota Wild as part of a trade that sent high-scoring forward Kevin Fiala to the Los Angeles Kings.
Faber is getting set for his junior season with the University of Minnesota, where he was just named a captain for the 2022-2023 season.
Faber was a second round pick by the Kings in the 2020 draft.
He has extensive international experience, including a strong showing for Team USA in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
